EFSP Phase 30 Funding

 

The fiscal year 2012 funding to be awarded to the National Board for the Emergency Food and Shelter Program (EFSP) is $120,000,000.  Phase 30 funding for the EFSP is contained in the Fiscal Year 2012 (FY12) Omnibus Appropriations Bill signed by the President at year’s end.  The EFSP National Board is awaiting the receipt of the funding through the federal process.  As of March 20, 2012, these funds are not yet available to the National Board and the funding formula has not yet been established, the National Board will advise qualifying jurisdictions and State Set-Aside Committees of award amounts when funds become available and the formula is established.

As a friendly reminder, should you agency need for your orders to be delivered to your site, please be aware that this must firs tbe approved by Golden Harvest Food Bank's Outreach Services Department.

With a very heavy delivery schedule for 30 counties, prior approval and logistical arrangements must come first. Please keep this in mind when placing your order online.  We appreciate your understanding and cooperation in this matter.
